[drats_users] Slow Speed Data over reflectors

You have not read much of the Dstar spec and have a background in EE/CS
retired.
It is already digital going into the radio and is NOT any part of the DV
other than in the same frame with it.
It does not matter about the Ethernet as without a radio-to-radio the DD
frame within the DV Frame is digital data (raw).

It is not referred to as DV data it is *D*igital *D*ata(DD) within *D*igital
*V*oice(DV). Two different types of FRAMES.
