Jim,
I compiled the notes from this thread and cross referenced twixt Baofeng-BTECH and CHIRP, so that I keep the relevance.

In my testing, I discovered a neat feature:
In the 5X3, when using SYNC, and with the NAME in band A and freq in Band B,
I normally scroll using Band A.
If I swap to Band B, with freq displayed, and hit *, the display toggles twixt
the RX and TX freqs, leaving the NAME displayed.
