Wow.  Welcome to Amateur Radio, eh Nigel?

Please do note that I only asked if the radio had an FCC label. I didn't 
state that I expect that it should.

I'm simply in the habit of looking things up on FCCID.io as the first 
step in sleuthing things out, as that's where most hardware-related 
information seems to be kept at this point in the hobby/industry.  And 
that's no doing of my own, in spite of me being American and all.  You 
can blame the FCC for that repository if you like.
