How are you listening to the repeater while you are transmitting on your
Baofeng?

If when transmitting from the Baofeng transceiver, try pressing a sequence
of Touch-Tone (R) keys.

Do these come across the other receiver?

Tune the other receiver (the one you are using to listen to the repeater
while you are transmitting) to the input frequency of the repeater. Can
you now here your voice when speaking? You should be hearing it. Put on
the tone squelch on the other receiver, does the tone squelch of 146.2 Hz
open up the receiver when you transmit using that tone?

If so, you know that you have audio, if no audio, explorer further.
