[chirp_users] Radio Not Communicating With Laptop

Hmm. My automatic don't-worry-your-little-head default was port 6. In fact, the correct one was #10 on my Dell running XP. Checking the port number is always high in my "Oh, crap" checklist. Indeed, my driver software was installed several years ago; I do not know which it is. 
Again, I'm new with CHIRP, so I beg your patience !!
