[chirp_users] frequency to chabnnel

I’m new so cannot answer the first question. To start scanning just press the scan key in the lower left corner of the keypad (on the UV-82L, anyway)

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IN SIMPLE STEP TERMS HOW TO  MOVE A FREQUENCY FROM FREQUENCY MODE TO STORE INTO A CHANNEL OF MY UV8.





NO SPLIT OR CCTSS NEEDED.....A SIMPLE PUBLIC BAND FREQUENCY INTO A CHANNEL.







ALSO HOW DOES ONE BEGIN THE CHANNEL SCAN PROCESS?
