This may sound funny, but make sure the cable is completely seated into the radio. Sometimes they go in a little stiff, and with a new radio it may feel like it’s properly inserted but it needs to be pushed in further.

Anybody get this cable to work with the radio ?

I have installed the drivers on XP SP3. Comes up as COM5.
CHIRP says the radio is not connected.
