[chirp_users] MacBook Air will not talk to UV-5RPlus

I read that suggestion in a previous thread. I was concerned that a driver
for Lion might be problematic for Mavericks. Also, as I mentioned, the
cable shows up as a Prolific USB to Serial Hub on the System Information
when it is plugged in. I.e., it is being recognized by the computer. I'm
not saying your wrong, but I'm not sure why I need to do the thing you
suggest.
