<div dir="ltr"><div>I read that suggestion in a previous thread. I was concerned that a driver for Lion might be problematic for Mavericks. Also, as I mentioned, the cable shows up as a Prolific USB to Serial Hub on the System Information when it is plugged in. I.e., it is being recognized by the computer. I'm not saying your wrong, but I'm not sure why I need to do the thing you suggest.<br>

I get an error message saying that the radio did not respond. I checked the cable (Prolific chip) and found that the computer recognized it. I should note that I have used this same cable to program the same radio on a Windows 7 desktop PC, so I know the cable connects properly to the radio. Everything works, except I can't download data from my radio. Any thoughts or solutions?<span><font color="#888888"><br>
