If you mean for split-tone operation, you don't. The two values are
stored so that you could switch from one tone to the other quickly in
the field, but there is no way to use a separate tone for transmit and
receive. Other brands of radios have this ability, but most amateur
Icoms do not.

Just for clarification: Tone mode implies just the Tone field is used
for transmit, no squelch tone on receive. TSQL mode implies that the
ToneSql tone is used for _both_ transmit and receive squelch.
