[UAT] uTNT 2.0 won't TX

I just got my Raspberry Pi a couple of days ago and a 3.5" screen to go with
it. I've got a musbtnt 2.0 that works fine with APRSIS32 in windows for both
RX/TX in KISS mode. I've been able to get it connected to the RPi via the
USB port and dantracker is able to read the over the air packets without a
problem when connected to my FT-3000M and they appear in the display just
like in the vidoes on YouTube. When running aprs with -v it display a lot of
additional data, particularly when it is supposedly sending my packet
however the radio doesn't key up. I've configured for testing to TX every 10
seconds, which the display indicates is happening but the radio never
transmits. I've verified that the radio and TNC are working in Windows just
fine for TX while in KISS mode.

 

When I kill aprs the radio will TX, below is what I'm seeing in the console
but those don't seem to TX.

Any thoughts on what may be causing this or where to start looking?
