[UAT] Dan's Software help

I managed today to create from scratch a working version of the DanTracker.
I work from my Mac though SSH with the Raspberry using the ­X option.  (Mac
terminal, then ssh pi at 10.0.1.13 ­X)
Here are my events chronologically in the attached pdf file.

What needs to be done are :
1. How do I change to metric ?  I did not find that yet in the ini file
2. How do i get the output to the composite video connector ?. If I run ./ui
­i at the Raspberry itself, then it report GTK-warnig ** cannot open display
