[drats_users] What do I Tell my Friends??

John,

I am guessing that you have a computer up there with the repeater,
running D-RATS. At the moment, we don't have that, but, anyone can come
get files from my D-RATS shared drive.

What I would like to be able to do for things like bike races or other
public service events would be to access a file, i.e., a roster for
tracking drop outs, from the net control station or be able to inform
them that aid station # whatever needs something. Then they would get
instant updates and we wouldn't have to continually tie up the voice
channel to do those updates. We could also do check-ins and status and
such that way too.

I haven't tried that, but I have exchanged files.

Thanks

David, AC7DS
