You use DRATS as a regular x.25 packet modem program.
Can use the modem built into the Kenwood d710.
When you use DRATS with DSTAR you get mapping display. But I am not sure if
you try it in FM packet mode do you get APRS support like WinAPRS or UIView.

I am trying to get several other hams who are also in our local RACES group
to give D-Rats a try. So far they continue working on getting packet up and
working locally. But, are showing no interest in using D-Rats. What else can
I tell the as to why they should try D-Rats?
