 Bob,

 Try turning off the spell check stuff. The only error I see in the debug
 log is related to not finding the aspell package:

 Demand-opening aspell...
 Spelling test failed: [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified

 Is it possible that is what is crashing your Win7 system?
