 This sounds like ticket number 245 - "Add a Port" Fails to Add Ports with
 Fedora 12 & 13 Beta Linux. It was specific to the GTK version used in the
 Linux distribution, and was fixed in the later releases. Are you running
 the latest beta (0.3.3b5)?
