[drats_users] ubuntu 10.10 serial issue

Hi all,

I installed D-rats via the 'karmic' repository' and synaptic, but
although it runs ok and I can connect to the 'flector, there is no way I
can get it to connect to the radio (2820) via serial. I have tried
sudoing etc but still no joy.

Yep speed is 9600 and all.

Any ideas would be appreciated and thanks a priori
