 Here is what ive done to test it.

 Case 1.

 Radio 1 ID-E880 running D-RATS with TX GPS ON
 Radio 2 E2820 running in GPS mode, no D-RATS.
 The ID-E880 can decode the GPS data from the E2820 and shows it in D-RATS,
 but it can not transmit from D-RATS.

 Case 2.
 Radio 1 ID-E880 running D-RATS with TX GPS ON
 Radio 2 E2820 running D-RATS with GPS OFF
 The ID-E880 can decode the chat data from the E2820 and show it in D-RATS,
 but it can not transmit from D-RATS.

 Conclusion.
 ID-E880 can decode GPS data from the E2820 and also get D-RATS
 chat/events, while GPS TX is ON. But it can not send anything back from
 D-RATS.

 What i want to do with D-RATS is only getting the GPS data on to the MAP.
 Im not look for all the other options. Simply a GPS>Live MAP program. So
 thats why i would like the NMEA option. Or simply just some software that
 can plot the GPS data on to a MAP. My problem is i cant PTT transmit my
 own GPS data, when D-RATS is running, and if its not running, i cant see
 the MAP :-)

 Does this make any sense?
