[drats_users] Question about runtime python on Mac

This is a question for Dan, but others on the list may be interested...

I checked where the install of runtime python was placed on OS 10 - it looks like it was all in /opt/kk7ds . That's looks fine. The reason it slightly concerns me is that I also have the developer tools installed, and in addition I have a large amount of unix ported software/libs under fink version control in the root directory /sw (see http://www.finkproject.org/ ) . Whenever someone uses an installer to create a library, I'm concerned that a conflict might happen.

It doesn't look like any path variables got modified. I'm guessing that the d-rats*.app alone looks for that specific absolute path to its own Python library. Is that correct? That's my question.

BTW, thank you for porting this to the Mac. I'm happy to try out any beta revs.
