 Actually, now that I know what you're doing, I think you did actually find
 a bug.  When you add a map pointer, you have historically been able to
 type in a new group name and have it created if it doesn't exist.  That
 used to work, but seems not to at the moment, so I need to fix that.  This
 is why I needed this level of detail, and it paid off :)

 Thanks, I'll rename this bug a bit and try to get this fixed up soon.
