 Hah, interesting.  Well, this really shouldn't happen because D-RATS
 should time out the write.  However, either you considered it hung before
 the timeout, or Win2K is handling async writes to the serial port
 differently than other versions.

 Either way, it sounds like it's probably worth me adding an FAQ item to
 the site about this, just in case anyone else hits it.
