 May or may not be related, but at some point the users.txt file completely
 disappears from the folder. 'taint in the recycle bin, it's just GONE.
 Have not isolated what precipitates it, but it has happened twice now so
 it was not an errant DEL key by the op.  I thought it might get trashed
 when I forced REPEATER to die in the task manager, but I killed it and re-
 started three times now and it is still there (for now).   The mystery
 continues...
