I'm not sure what the problem might be if you're running the latest beta
of DVTool.  Since DVTool 2.x doesn't yet run on Linux, I can't easily
help diagnose this.

Perhaps one of the other folks here who have it working can comment?  A
firewall issue, perhaps?
