How about with four stations, each in pairs of two sending to each
other? Six? Ten? Twelve? (GRIN)
Where does it fall apart with the "hidden node" problem?
Packet did... D-STAR will too... 1200 baud just isn't all that much
bandwidth. At some point the network becomes "saturated" and the
re-tries from hidden nodes not being heard by all, effectively jam the
frequency.
The throughput can be charted... a few stations, things are good... a
few more, it *exponentially* gets worse.
