Meaning transmit the spots you get from APRS-IS on the local D-STAR 
radio, if they're close to your current position?

I'm not familiar with IGATE.  Can you point me to a description of what 
it does?

I think I'm struggling with a bit of the language and my own ignorance, 
so if anyone else can hit me with a clue bat, that might be helpful 
too... :)
