No, the previous URL you had wasn't an RSS feed, but a page of RSS 
links.  Liferea probably dereferences the <link> tag to find what you 
were really looking for.  I'll put a protection in place to catch that 
exception if you do that (although feedparser reported success, which 
sounds like a bug there to me).
