Just to complete the thread on +-, 
SFT-D (offset dir) and OFFSET (value) function only in VFO mode.
+ OR - shown /only/ in VFO mode.
MR mode uses and stores explicit RX and TX frequencies.
+- (both) is shown for all channels in MR mode.
