Jim,
Your file worked, I imported your file and tested channel 1
146.43
I use Liber office to import lines from other chirp files.
So all the lines worked in other radios I programmed with Chirp.
Granted, some of the channels are out of range of this radio's transmit 
abilities, but I have imported HF frequencies before, for listening, and 
they imported okay.
And Chirp is not giving me any errors when I import the file with 300 
channels.
When we do the import, I have always selected "All" and then okay.
Is that right?

How did you add the channels? I would expect that you used a text
editor or a spreadsheet program and "broke" the CHIRP compatibility.
Can you load the CSV file into CHIRP itself? Do you have a copy of the
CSV before you added the additional channels to see if that works?.

I have attached a valid CHIRP CSV file with 6 simplex channels. Try it.
