Jim and All,
I see now that there is a message on the import that tells me to use export.
That is one of the problems with using Chirp in windows with a screenreader.
Information pops up, and if you don't route the reading cursor to the PC 
cursor and read around on the screen, you aren't privy to messages given.
So I exported it this time.
But although they show in Chirp, they don't seem to be working on my radio.
And it would seem that only around 90 channels imported out of 300, based on 
when the dial passes zero.
At least I'm making some progress.

I imported my CSV with no errors and it shows the files in Chirp, but I try
to save or save as, and it does not save, is this normal?

How did you add the channels? I would expect that you used a text
editor or a spreadsheet program and "broke" the CHIRP compatibility.
Can you load the CSV file into CHIRP itself? Do you have a copy of the
CSV before you added the additional channels to see if that works?.

I have attached a valid CHIRP CSV file with 6 simplex channels. Try it.
