thanks to all for advice re: programming my baofeng uv-5r+. Special thanks
to Jim Unroe-i downloaded the older driver you recommended and also found
that my two prong connection was not fully installed. That plus some VERY
detailed and helpful directions for using CHIRP supplied by Rich AG6QR from
a local ham club have me up and running.
