Billy,

Please answer these questions in my yesterday's message below one by one so
we can help you.

If you're using Mac or Linux skip the questions regarding Device Manager,
but you may still get a notification if you unplug and plug back in your
USB cable.  We need to know the name the notification gives you for the
location of the cable.

Most of the problems people have is they are using counterfeit chips in
inexpensive pirated USB converters under Windows which use Prolific chip
sets, or the cable physically isn't fitting into the radio sufficiently
enough and we can advise you what to do to make it fit.

We need more information from you to start helping you.
