[chirp_users] IC-92AD Strangeness

I have the same issue, raised bugs long ago and still no resolution.

Here is the memory info taken from the manual:

The IC-92AD has 850 memory channels in the A band, 450
memory channels in the B band, and 2 call channels in each
band. Memory channels in each band include 50 scan edge
memory channels (25 pairs) for storage of often-used fre-
quencies, respectively.
And a total of 26 memory banks, A to Z, are available in
each band for storing groups of frequencies, etc. Up to 100
channels can be assigned into a bank.

It appears that something it halting at memory 849, and it can proceed no further.

If I look at what is loaded into Chirp I see that the following screens are populated
Memories (Band A)
Banks (Band A)
Memories (Band B)

These are not populated
Bank Names  (Band A)
Banks (Band B)
Bank Names  (Band B)
D-Star

Yet I am using both memory banks (analogue is A and D-Star is on B) I have bank names
on with frequencies in them, so not sure what is going on. But it looks like Chirp is not reading
past memory 849.

Also I used to be able to change channel data (freq, tone etc) and since the IC-92AD is a
"live radio" I would see the changes show up in the radio immediately, now I see nothing,
also if I try to use the refresh button, the screen in question goes blank.

I am running Mate 18.04. Chirp is Rev daily-20190201
The IC-92AD was why I started using Chirp, back in those times I could do anything to the
radio made the Icom software for which they charge (still) and outrageous amount looked
stupid. Yeah, it had a screen that showed a image of the radio and what was on the radio
screen, big deal I could look at the Chirp screen that showed the channels and see EXACTLY
what I wanted to see plus what was in above and below that channel.

Is the radio pretty much abandoned or is there someone who can look at this? What info
can I supply to help fix this. The radio is still in very good shape even though it has traveled
all over the planet and see some pretty grungy environments.

If you need more info holler and I will try to provide it.
