[chirp_users] Unable to upload to VX-5R

I tried downloading the latest FTDI driver (FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_4_2), installed it, and rebooted OSX. There was no change to the USB serial driver info in system report. So, I was already running this driver, or I need to do something else to have it use this driver, or…? Also the FTDI site shows 2 different types of drivers are available, the one I used and this one (D2XX1.4.4). What I find interesting is the one direction from the radio works flawlessly and te other direction (to the radio) fails after it is theoretically 3/4 done. Usually drivers fail in more definitive ways but clearly others are able to use Chirp bi-directionally with the VX-5R. By the way, for what it is worth, I have no trouble with upload and download to a Btech UV-5R. Of course that it is a different cable.
