[chirp_users] Unable to upload to VX-5R

OK,
Now the only thing left is the USB_Serial driver.
Mine shows up on the system info app as

FT232R USB UART:

  Product ID:	0x6001
Vendor ID:	0x0403 (Future Technology Devices International Limited)
  Version:	6.00
  Serial Number:	AI03E0C2
  Speed:	Up to 12 Mb/sec
  Manufacturer:	FTDI
  Location ID:	0x14100000 / 20
  Current Available (mA):	500
  Current Required (mA):	90
  Extra Operating Current (mA):	0

So I loaded the latest FTDI driver from the FTDI website, and everything has been fine since.

A friend of mine had a cheap interface with a chip from Prolific, and I had a heck of a time to find the right driver, but I made it work eventually when I used a driver from Prolific website.

So your mileage might vary.

Good luck,
Jean-Paul
