[chirp_users] P{roblem with QYT KT-8900

[Wm. A. Besore]

Chirp is working fine with my Baofeng UV-5R.

However, when I try to download from my QYT KT-8900 the following is shown and the program stops:

"An error has occurred.  The extra ID is wrong, aborting."

I have no idea what the reference to the wrong extra ID means, or how to go about correcting the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
