[chirp_users] Problems Skipping Channels While Scanning

Read your manual on page 45, preferential scanning.  How the radio scans depends on if you start scanning on channels you prefer to listen to, or scan all the channels. The book explains it nicely.

I select "S" in chirp, but my Yaesu FT-7900 does not skip the channels so selected during scanning.  What am I doing wrong?  Everything else seems to work as expected.
