Jim,

Not the same. The Kenwood has a TX CTCSS tone programmed but not an RX
CTCSS tone. You are programming both a TX and RX CTCSS tone on the
UV-82C.

To be the same you must change Tone Mode to Tone and put the CTCSS
tone in the Tone column.
