[chirp_users] Problem reading memory on my UV5R

Hi John----good to chat with you again


my problem:\I followed instructions until I get the file PL 2303 downloaded.

That is where the problem comes up --- when I run the file, I get 
nothing, nada, etc. Plugging in the cable does nothing and in the device 
manager--nothing there either
what did I do wrong?
