[chirp_users] Btech UV5001

I have recently acquired the Btech UV5001. I also have the Btech UV2501+200 and the FTDI cable and the latest drivers. I am able to download and upload on the 2501+200, but I have not been able to have a successful download with the 5001. I continually receive the error that the radio os unable to be identified. I am able to program manually but I hate not having the ability for uniform programming with my other radios via CHIRP and my saved CSV files. Is anyone still working on the UV5001? the radio works well, I just want to be able to program with CHIRP.
Regards,
Robert
