[chirp_users] Baofeng woes

BFB297 is the display I got when I used the method I described. So
apparently I still don't know what version of firmware I have until I get a
workable cable. (ref: email I sent concerning non-genuine FTDI chip cable,
the Baofeng branded one.)

Thanks again, I'll likely have questions later :)
