[chirp_users] Wide band vs Narrow Band

I am new to this user forum and not to sure about search the complete 
discussion.  That being said, I do not know if this has been discussed.

I am a Canadian resident and the Federal Communications has not 
regulated portable radios to narrow band.  All of the Motorola radios 
that we have are wide band.  I had purchased some radios in the US and 
had them programed.  They were setup as narrow band. Apparently, they 
did not work with our existing radios so they were reprogrammed as wide 
band here in Canada.

Now the question: When adding a new channel, which column needs to be 
changed and how to program some frequencies as wide band?
