[chirp_users] Problem using Chirp (daily) on Mac OS X 10.6.8

Does Mac OS 10.6.8 work with Chirp?
The Mac does not download the blank from the transceiver.
So, I'm stuck at the first step.
Anyone else have this problem?  A solution?
