I used the N5R2401(141006N)(factory).img

My read firmware ver. BFB 297. But the error message in chirp said N5R2401.

I went to the http://kc9hi.dyndns.org/uv5r/programming/CHIRPrecovery/
webpage.
Downloaded the correct file. Uploaded the N5R2401(141006N)(factory).img
Programmed the NOAA radio and to test. All fixed.

This not fixed. I tried all those steps suggested and it did not work. The
radio was fine until I loaded my old file with chrip onto the new Uv-5r.
Then receive got muted.

I tried the factory image and leaving the beep on. Nothing works. I am upset
because it looks like the radio is ruined.
