I bet that drops to about a nickel a minute on a landline, or less.  ($0.02/minute on my landline here in Canada.)  Overseas phone calls from North American mobile numbers are atrociously expensive.

Verizon's price for a call to Wouxun's tech support in China is $2.49 per minute. Surely they have a US tech support phone number??????
