[chirp_users] Programing a Baofeng UV-82 with Chirp on osx 10.9.2

Do I need to uninstall the Prolific driver before installing the generic
version?

I just purchased a Baofeng BF-F8, and have also been unable to get CHIRP to
download from the radio using a Baofeng branded cable.
