Your sarcasm proves my point!

Right you are Bob.

Considering that you are required to use their software, and given the
outrageous price they charge for it, you'd think they could at least spend a
few more programming minutes to accommodate an additional large percentage
of potential users.

Eric,

I understand your frustrations with these conditions! Quick & dirty is the
methodoligy of developers such as these and they really don't care whether
or not you or I can use their software.

thanks.
still, its very frustrating not to be able to use the program the way others
can and only on linux (then again, I can't tell what half the settings are
because they aren't labeled).

I really do have to ask the developer to put himself in my shoes for a
while. How can a person manipulate the features and controls in a program if
they aren't labeled or are invisible? This is the consideration I ask.

be able to use a computer program to program my Bao-Fang without sighted
assistance. I know this seems to be a sore point, but it does have to be
dealt with at some point. If I had the time and resources to devote to
learning and coding in python, I would. However, I don't. Its a simple
matter of not having time (I am attending classes to get a degree here and
can't add even one more thing to my plate). .
