[chirp_users] file damaged or incomplete

Tom's statement is valid, but I would recommend a different solution. Instead of carte blanche allowing any unsigned apps, I would recommend the following procedure instead:

- Locate the app in Finder.
- Right click (control-click if you don't have a Magic Mouse) on the app and click Open.
- You will get a dialog box about it being an unsigned app, click the Open button.
- Enter the userid and password of the Administrative login.
- The app will now be flagged to allow it to be opened normally in the future.

The above is the preferred method, especially if you have kids, visiting grandkids, or crazy brothers-in-law as you retain some control over what gets installed on your system.

And to keep this posting as topically valid, the just now downloaded version 0.4.0 runs just fine on my system under 10.9.2.
