[chirp_users] Wouxun KG-UV6X, is it possible to unlock menu function?

Jim, thanks for your help! I really do appreciate it.
This might be a little over my head though.
I'm pretty good with computers for a novice, but I cannot find the .img file. If I could find it I could email it to you.
Also, I tried to follow the instructions to use Unetbootin, but I don't even know which distribution to select? Plus, I bet I'd be lost once I re-booted to the USB drive. I know how to re-boot to a bootable hard drive with OSX, but beyond that I'm afraid I might get lost.
Again, thanks for your help. I'm sure you're busy, but I don't want to take too much of your time helping me with something that is probably pretty remedial.
