More importantly, I recall you from the UV-5R list asking this same 
question, so I think you'd best be served by downloading the latest 
version, as the support for the UV-5R is *vastly* better in the latest 
stable release.  The version you want lacks significant features and 
doesn't support the latest versions of the firmware on the UV-5R.

All told, you'd likely be better off concentrating your energies working 
with this group to get the current stable (or even the latest daily) 
build working.
