Thanks for you time, Bob, but all I get for apt-cache policy chirp-daily is N: Unable to locate package chirp-daily.

I think I have things a bit confused here.  I have been a Slackware user years ago but have not really learned to use Ubuntu.

About button on the top Chirp menu says version '26 and I thought that correct.

Thanks, again, I'll figure this out.
